The 10th edition of ESOF will take place this year, in the European City of Science 2022, Leiden, in the Netherlands from 13 July to 16 July 2022. 

The main theme of the 10th edition of ESOF2022 is Crossing Borders, Engaged Science, Resilient Societies.  

The theme is all about unity and bridging gaps, bringing together stakeholders of science and society from all over the world to cross knowledge and geographical borders and come together to discuss, adapt, and collaborate on innovative and timely interventions needed to solve the challenges we are facing today.

ESOF2022 is a hybrid conference with many ways to participate –  onsite, in the beautiful city of Leiden, and/or online through the virtual conference platform/mobile app.

ESOF aims to:

  • foster dialogue on science, technology, innovation, policy, and society 
  • offer a platform for cross-disciplinary interaction and exchange. 
  • present cutting-edge scientific and technological developments in all scientific areas, including natural and medical sciences, life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences and humanities. 
  • offer valuable opportunities for early-career researchers, including networking and career advice.

TRANSFORM AT ESOF 2022 exhibition

Towards an engaged, inclusive and responsible science communication

THURSDAY,  14 July 2022  I 12:45 – 13:45

The ESOF 2022 exhibition will host 75 live Poster presentations with Q&A during the lunch break at the Pieterskerk venue. All the presenters will be on hand to answer questions as well. Join us at the session dedicated to Freedom and Responsibility of Science’. 

Angela Simone, TRANSFORM Project Coordinator, will present a poster “Towards an engaged, inclusive and responsible science communication” jointly prepared by the TRANSFORM project, ENJOI project and MOSAIC project. 

The physical posters will be accessible onsite during the Exhibition hours in addition to being available 24/7 online on the virtual conference platform as e-posters.
